Mumbai: Mahila Congress President Janet D’Souza Leads Water Protest

Mumbai, Mar 29: Mumbai Mahila Congress staged a protest-march under the leadership of president Janet D’Souza at BMC headquarters here on Monday March 26, opposing reduction in water charges for slum dwellers and residents living in tenements.

Mahila Congress expressed concerns over inadequate water supply and contaminated water supply to residents across the metro.

A delegation met Mayor Suresh Prabhu and presented a memorandum in this regard.
