Mangaluru: Young man dies of heart attack while singing bhajans in Thokur

Mangaluru, Sep 5: A 38-year-old man collapsed and died of a heart attack while participating in a bhajan programme held on the premises of the Thokur Subrahmanya Temple as part of Ashtami celebrations on Friday, September 4.

The tragic incident was reported late Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Srinath Shettigar (38), a resident of Thokur.

Srinath was employed in Bengaluru and had returned to his hometown for Ashtami. He was also actively involved in local organisations.
