"Service to humanity is service to god. Talent Research Foundation (TRF) has come up with an appropriate programme to identify and recognize people for their achievements," said Nissar Ahmed, IGP, Bangalore, at Town Hall here on Sunday March 25.
 
He was the speaking at the presentation ceremony of ‘Talent Milad Award - 2012’, wherein awards were conferred on as many as 60 people, irrespective of their caste, creed or language, for their selfless service and achievements in various fields.

"God gives and forgives but man gets and forgets," Nissar Ahmed said, while stressing on the importance of service that society needs. 
 
As many as 110 Bharath Scouts and Guides students and teachers who served as volunteers during 17th National Youth Festival in January too were felicitated  for their service and for making the fest a huge success.
 
The 60 awardees were conferred ‘Talent Milad Award 2012’ in 19 categories wherein achievers from all communities were honoured to foster and strengthen communal harmony.
 
Two books, titled 'Pathfinder' and 'Savinenapu' were released on the occasion.

Abdul Rauf Puthige, founder president of TRF, DR Raju, president of Billava Samaja, Maulana Abdul Aziz Dharimi Kallega and many other dignitaries were present.

    Congrats to all who were bestowed with awards in recognition with their service to the respective field.And especially I would like to congratulate Mr Jaleel of Belthangady who owns an ambulance to serve the needy with out seeing rich or poor,caste n creed whatever may be.He is not charging for poor people nor asking inflated charges from any body.He is an social worker available for any emergency service around Belthangady.Apart from that he is well known sports person of Belthangdy.
