Mangaluru: Rahul Ratnam Pandey appointed new commissioner of city corporation

Mangaluru, Jul 24: The state government has issued an order appointing Rahul Ratnam Pandey, a 2018 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Karnataka cadre, as the new commissioner of the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC).

He takes over the charge from KAS officer Ravichandra Nayak, who has been transferred.

Prior to this new role, Pandey was serving as the managing director of the Karnataka State Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (KSMSCL) in Bengaluru. He originally hails from Uttar Pradesh.

According to the government order, the appointment comes into effect immediately. Pandey has been posted to the position vacated by Nayak and will serve as the commissioner of the city corporation until further orders.
