Karkala: Christ King PU College hosts session on managing academic stress

Karkala, Jul 16: Christ King Pre-University College, Karkala, organized an awareness and interactive session on managing academic stress for its pre-university and class 10 students.

Dr Virupaksha Devaramane, psychiatrist and counsellor from Vaikunta Baliga Hospital, Udupi, was the resource person for the programme. Interacting with the students, he emphasized the importance of mental well-being and goal-oriented learning.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Virupaksha Devaramane said, “Mentally resilient youth are the nation's greatest asset. Students should have clarity about their goals and identify the right path to achieve them. They must understand their own strengths and weaknesses and prepare an appropriate action plan accordingly.”

Mathematics lecturer Bharathi Nayak compered the programme and coordinated the event.

Principal of the pre-university section, Lakshmi Narayan Kamath, and headmistress of the high school section, Josna Snehalatha, were present on the dais.
