Mangaluru: Srinivas University organizes pick & speech competition

Mangaluru, Jul 15: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized a pick and speech competition on July 14 for the students of BBA aviation management and BBA aviation and logistics management. The competition aimed to strengthen students' public speaking abilities, self-confidence, quick thinking, and analytical skills by encouraging them to deliver speeches on management-related topics selected through a draw of lots. A total of 53 students participated with great enthusiasm, effectively presenting their ideas, demonstrating clarity of thought, originality, and the ability to express their opinions confidently on various management concepts.

Based on their outstanding performances, Adhithya B Gowda from second year BBA aviation management student, secured first place. Amogh Hegde from first year BBA aviation and logistics management student, secured second place. Shourya from first year BBA aviation and logistics management student, secured third place. The winners were appreciated for their excellent speaking abilities and were congratulated by the faculty and fellow students for their remarkable performances.

The competition concluded successfully with the encouragement and support of the Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, SWO, HODs, Management coordinator, faculty members, student volunteers, and staff members of the Institute of Aviation Studies. Their efforts ensured the smooth execution and success of the event.
