Mangaluru, Jul 6: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Akademi on Monday released the printed editions of the award-winning novels from its Konkani Novel Competition at the Akademi office.
The books were formally released by Joachim Stany Alvares, president of the Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Akademi.
The released novels include ‘Ho Mhajo Apradh’, written by Roshan Melki Sequeira (Roshu, Bajpe), which won the first prize; ‘Kudryacho Rakvali’, authored by Vincent Pinto (Vinci Pinto, Angelore), the second prize winner; and ‘Ani Sanj Jali’, written by Stephen Mascarenhas (Hemacharya), which secured the third prize in the competition.
Also present on the occasion were akademi registrar Rajesh G, Standing Committee members Naveen Lobo, Dayanand Madkekar, Samarth Bhat, and Ronald Crasta.
