Mumbai, Jul 3: Bollywood actor John Abraham, known for his disciplined fitness regime and strict diet, recently shared a humorous story about the time he ate 64 chapatis at a restaurant after an exhausting football match.
Appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show, the actor recounted how an unlimited Gujarati thali led to one of his most memorable food experiences.
Host Kapil Sharma reminded John of the incident, saying, "Once you ate 64 chapatis in a restaurant. Then the waiter told you, 'Sir, there's rice too.'"

Laughing, John explained that the chapatis served with the unlimited thali were extremely small, making it easier to consume such a large number.
"After a football match, I went to a Gujarati thali restaurant. We were young then, and it was an unlimited thali. The rotis were tiny," John said while gesturing with his hands to indicate their size.
"I ended up eating 64 chapatis, and the waiter told me, 'There's rice too.' I replied, 'First keep bringing me the rotis,'" he recalled with a smile.
The actor added that he eventually went on to eat rice as well after finishing all 64 chapatis.
On the work front, John is currently preparing for Force 3, the latest instalment in the popular action franchise. The film will also feature Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala in prominent roles.
Speaking about the upcoming film, John said the Force franchise has always held a special place in his career because of its gritty action and strong identity.
"Force has always been a franchise I've believed in deeply. What makes it special for me is that it has a certain grit and a strong identity that audiences have connected with over the years," he said.
He added that the makers intend to take the franchise to a larger scale with the third film and expressed confidence in Harshvardhan Rane's action credentials.
"With Force 3, we're taking that legacy forward in a big way. I'm also really excited to introduce Harsh as an action hero. He has the presence, the energy and the hunger for it, and I think audiences are going to enjoy watching him in this space," John said.
