Lucknow, Jun 25: The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its new state organisation team under the leadership of Pankaj Chaudhary, in a major organisational reshuffle ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
The decision was finalised after a series of meetings held in Delhi and Lucknow, where senior party leaders held detailed discussions on strengthening the party’s organisational structure and improving election preparedness. The names were approved by the BJP’s top leadership.
The newly formed state team reflects the party’s strategy to expand its grassroots network and strengthen its presence across Uttar Pradesh ahead of the crucial polls.

As per the list released by the Uttar Pradesh BJP, the new organisation includes 19 vice presidents and eight general secretaries.
Among the prominent appointments, Neeraj Singh, son of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Pooja Pal and Suresh Rana, have been appointed as vice presidents of the state BJP.
Saroj Kushwaha has been appointed as the State President of the BJP Mahila Morcha, while Rohit Mishra has been named the State President of the BJP Youth Wing (Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha). Dinesh Pratap has been appointed as the Chief Spokesperson of the Uttar Pradesh BJP.
The announcement followed a meeting between BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde and Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary on Wednesday to discuss the new organisational structure.
The two leaders held discussions for around half an hour and reviewed the proposed names for various positions before final approval.
Meanwhile, the BJP has introduced a new age criterion to promote younger leadership within the party’s youth wing. Under the new rule, the upper age limit for the post of state president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has been fixed at 35 years.
Party sources said the move is aimed at encouraging young leaders and providing greater opportunities to emerging members within the organisation.
The decision is expected to bring a generational shift in BJYM leadership and strengthen youth participation in party activities.
