Ullal NDPS case accused absconding since 2021 arrested in Kerala

Mangaluru, Jun 10: The Ullal police arrested an accused who had been absconding after securing bail in a narcotics case registered under the NDPS Act.

According to police, Fazal (31), a resident of Mohammed Ali Manzil, Pachilambar, Uppala in Kasargod district of Kerala, was an accused in Ullal police station crime no. 76/2021 registered under Sections 8(c) and 21(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Fazal had been released on bail in 2021 but subsequently failed to appear before the court and had been absconding. On June 9, police traced and arrested him from his residence in Uppala.

He was produced before the principal district and sessions court, Mangaluru, in connection with special case no. 23/2026. The court remanded him to judicial custody.
