Mumbai: Janet Lawrence D’Souza Appointed Congress Party Observer in Karnataka

Mumbai, Mar 14: Janet Lawrence D’Souza was appointed by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi as observer to assess the party’s standing and suggest a panel of candidates in 18 assembly segments of Bangalore central and Bangalore north parliamentary constituencies in Karnataka state.  AICC chief secretary Madhusudan Mistry issued a letter in this regard.


 

D’Souza is an educationist in Ghatkopar (West) and well-known in political circles.  She is being mentored by the state’s former minister Celine D’Silva. D’Souza had contested as united candidate of Congress-NCP-RPI in the state legislative assembly elections from Ghatkopar (West) constituency in 2009.  She is also serving as member of the education committee of Brahanmumbai Mahanagara Palike.

    It's good to hear that Janet Dsouza has been appointed as Congress Party observer in Karnataka. Would request her to recommed the names thru her public opinon instead of checking generally with candidates.
