Mangaluru, May 17: A 28-year-old youth tragically lost his life in a lift accident at a mart in Kuntikana here on May 16 evening.
The deceased has been identified as Noufal (28), a resident of Poonjakere in Belalu village. It is gathered that he was unmarried.
According to sources, the accident occurred while Noufal was busy at work on Saturday evening. Although others present at the scene immediately rushed to his aid and attempted to rescue him from the danger, their efforts proved unsuccessful.
A case has been registered at the Urwa police station in connection with the incident, and further investigations are underway.
