Kannada actor Dileep Raj passes away of heart attack at 47

Bengaluru, May 13: Kannada actor Dileep Raj passed away after suffering a heart attack in the early hours of Wednesday, May 13. He was 47.

The actor, who was last seen playing a lawyer in the film 'Love Mocktail 3', rose to fame for his role as the antagonist opposite Puneeth Rajkumar in the hit movie 'Milana' (2005).

Dileep Raj began his acting career in television with popular serials like 'Hitler Kalyana'. He made his feature film debut with 'Boyfriend' in 2005, and over the years, he successfully transitioned into producing serials for television.

Some of his notable works on the silver screen include 'Tony', 'Orchestra Mysuru', 'U Turn', 'Minchagi Nee Baralu', 'Ambi Ning Vayassaayto', and 'Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu', among others.

He is survived by his wife and two children.
