Mumbai, May 10: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has introduced her second son, Rudralokh Kapoor Ahuja, through a stylish family naming ceremony that reflected the actor’s signature fashion sense and spiritual touch.

Sharing photographs from the Namkaran ceremony on Instagram, Sonam gave fans a glimpse of the coordinated family appearance featuring husband Anand Ahuja, elder son Vayu and newborn Rudralokh.

The entire Kapoor-Ahuja family was dressed in custom outfits designed by Anamika Khanna.

For the occasion, Sonam wore a mint green and pastel-toned lehenga paired with a structured tunic-style top and dupatta featuring intricate floral embroidery in lavender, blue and ochre shades.

The outfit was styled by Rhea Kapoor along with Manisha Melwani and Abhilasha Devnani.

Sonam completed her look with a sleek bun decorated with blue hydrangeas, soft dewy makeup by Divya Shetty and pearl-drop jewellery.

Anand Ahuja and the children coordinated in ivory and sage-toned ensembles designed to complement Sonam’s attire.

The actor also revealed that Anand collaborated closely with Anamika Khanna to conceptualise the coordinated outfits for the family.

Sonam and Anand welcomed their second son on March 29, 2026, and officially announced his name in May.

Explaining the spiritual meaning behind the name, Sonam wrote that “Rudra” in the Vedas symbolises strength, healing, renewal and the divine force that removes suffering.

She added that the name shares a spiritual connection with their elder son Vayu, representing continuity between preservation and transformation.

“With Rudra, a sacred continuity emerges. Breath and power. Preservation and transformation. One strengthening the other,” she wrote.

The actor expressed hope that Rudralokh would grow up to be fearless, compassionate and a source of strength and light.
