Mumbai, May 9: Bhavini Mallick of St Francis High School, Bhayandar, has brought great pride to the school by securing an outstanding 99.80% in the std X Maharashtra State Board Examinations 2026. Alongside her academic brilliance, Bhavini has also distinguished herself as a dedicated chess player. The game of chess, which demands intense concentration, strategic thinking, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, has helped shape the discipline and mental sharpness that reflect in her academic success as well.
Bhavini bagged 2nd place at the national-level chess championship, winning a silver medal and team trophy. After first emerging victorious at the state level, she went on to represent Maharashtra at the national level, a commendable achievement that speaks of her perseverance and talent.
