Normal rainfall predicted as in DK, Udupi areas as state prepares for wet weather until May 9

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru

Bengaluru, May 3: Parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts are expected to receive normal rainfall as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts rain across several regions of the state until May 9.

According to the department, the coastal belt, along with north and south interior Karnataka, is likely to experience rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and gusty winds.

While the coastal districts prepare for these showers, several districts in north interior Karnataka—including Bagalkote, Gadag, Haveri, Vijayapura, Belagavi, Bidar, and Dharwad—are expected to maintain dry weather for the next two days. However, light rain is likely to follow in Koppal, Yadgiri, Raichur, and Kalaburagi districts starting from May 5.
