New Delhi, Apr 30: Exit poll results for the assembly elections in West Bengal (WB), Tamil Nadu (TN), Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry have been released.
According to most surveys, the BJP is likely to form the government in Assam and Puducherry, the UDF in Kerala, and the DMK in Tamil Nadu.

West Bengal
According to the People's Pulse survey, the TMC is projected to win 178-189 seats, while the BJP is expected to secure 95-110 seats in West Bengal. As per this survey, the TMC is likely to return to power.
According to the P-MarQ survey, the TMC is projected to win 118-138 seats, while the BJP may secure 150-175 seats.
The Matrize survey predicts the TMC will win 125-140 seats, while the BJP may secure 146-161 seats.
A simple majority in the 294-member West Bengal assembly requires 147 seats. The Matrize and P-MarQ surveys indicate a possible NDA majority.
Tamil Nadu
According to the Matrize survey, the DMK+ alliance is projected to win 122-132 seats, AIADMK+ 87-110 seats, and TVK 10-12 seats.
The People's Pulse survey predicts DMK+ will win 125-145 seats, while AIADMK+ is likely to secure 65-80 seats.
A majority in the 234-member Tamil Nadu assembly requires 117 seats. Both the Matrize and People's Pulse surveys indicate that the DMK is likely to return to power.
Kerala
According to the Matrize survey, the LDF is projected to win 60-65 seats, the UDF 75-85 seats, and the BJP 3-5 seats.
The Axis My India survey predicts the LDF will win 49-62 seats, while the UDF is expected to secure 78-90 seats.
A majority in the 140-member Kerala assembly requires 70 seats. Therefore, both the Matrize and Axis My India surveys predict a UDF majority in Kerala.
Assam
According to the Axis My India survey, the NDA alliance is projected to win 88-100 seats, while the Congress and its allies may secure 24-36 seats.
The Matrize survey predicts the BJP alliance will win 85-95 seats, the Congress alliance 25-32 seats, and others 6-12 seats.
According to People's Pulse, the NDA is expected to win 68-72 seats, while the Congress alliance may secure 22-26 seats.
A majority in the 126-member Assam assembly requires 63 seats. Most surveys indicate that the BJP is likely to return to power in Assam.
Puducherry
According to the Axis My India survey, the BJP is projected to win 16-20 seats, while the Congress may secure 6-8 seats.
A majority in the 30-member Puducherry assembly requires 15 seats. The Axis My India survey indicates that the BJP is likely to form the government in Puducherry.
