Mumbai, Apr 29: Five-time National Award-winning playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has opened up about the creative journey behind transforming her widely celebrated “All Hearts Tour” into a live studio album.

Speaking during her ongoing international travels, Ghoshal shared that the idea for the album emerged after reflecting on the scale and emotional depth of the tour, which spanned over a year and covered major cities across the globe. She noted that each performance carried unique memories—whether through the audience’s response, the venue’s atmosphere, or specially curated setlists.

Among the standout locations were iconic venues such as the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, known for hosting the Academy Awards, and the historic Fox Theatre in Detroit, where legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar once performed. Ghoshal highlighted how each venue contributed its own character to the performances, making the experience deeply meaningful.

She explained that selecting tracks for the album was a challenging process, as the team aimed to capture the best recordings from different cities while preserving the essence of each live moment. The album reflects not just the performances but also the emotional connection shared with audiences worldwide.

Ghoshal also emphasized that the live renditions featured fresh arrangements and subtle improvisations, making each performance distinct from its original studio version. Songs like Deewani Mastani were reimagined during the tour, ensuring that no two performances were exactly the same.

The “All Hearts Tour” live album has now been officially released under Sony Music India, serving as a musical time capsule for fans and the entire team involved in the tour.
