Sullia: Car rams KSRTC bus at Aranthodu; one injured

Sullia, Apr 29: One person was injured after a car rammed into a government bus that had halted to pick up passengers at Aranthodu on Tuesday.

According to reports, the KSRTC bus was on its way from Koynad to Sullia and had stopped by the roadside when a car coming from behind crashed into it, severely damaging the front portion of the vehicle.

Five persons, including a child, were travelling in the car at the time of the accident. One of the occupants sustained injuries and was shifted to Sullia hospital for treatment.

The car was reportedly travelling from Madikeri towards Sullia when the mishap occurred.
