Mumbai, Apr 27: Actor Aamir Khan turned emotional during a musical event organised ahead of the release of his son Junaid Khan’s upcoming film Ek Din, which also stars Sai Pallavi.

The event, titled “Ek Din Ki Mehfil”, was held in Mumbai as part of the film’s promotions. During one of the performances, Aamir Khan was seen tearing up and wiping his eyes, visibly moved by the rendition. He was also seen humming along, while Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi interacted with him during the moment.

Ahead of the event, Aamir personally supervised the arrangements to ensure everything proceeded smoothly. A video that has surfaced online shows him folding his hands and politely requesting attendees and paparazzi to take their seats so that the programme could begin in an orderly manner.

His humble gesture has since gone viral, drawing praise on social media.

The event was organised as a celebration of the film’s title track and aimed at promoting emerging musical talent. Participants were invited to submit their own renditions of the song, with selected performers getting an opportunity to perform live in front of Aamir Khan and the film’s cast.

Directed by Sunil Pandey and produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Ek Din is a romantic drama and is scheduled for theatrical release on May 1, 2026.
