Media Release

Bengaluru, Apr 26: The Kannada film industry has witnessed a fresh addition to the suspense genre with the theatrical release of ‘Ludo’, a gripping crime-thriller hyperlink film that debuted in cinemas on April 24.

With a runtime of 2 hours and 7 minutes, the movie explores complex themes of survival and the unforeseen consequences of choices through a narrative in which multiple lives and paths unexpectedly collide.

The film is a significant creative undertaking by D Yogaraj, who serves as the writer, director, cinematographer and editor. The story centres on a protagonist named Arya, whose routine existence is shattered when separate journeys begin to intersect, setting off a chain of events that disrupt everything in its wake.

The hyperlink format allows the audience to witness how seemingly unrelated decisions can lead to a singular, high-stakes collision.

Produced by Neelakanta and Mahendran M, Ludo features a talented ensemble cast including Sharan Raj Kasaragod, Jeevitha Prabhakar, Pavan Bangere and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor.

Supporting the directorial vision, Krithika Yogaraj served as the co-director, while the technical aesthetic was rounded out by costume designer and makeup artist Susheela Yogaraj.

The film's atmosphere is further intensified by its auditory landscape, featuring a musical score by Raj Bhaskar and a background score composed by Spurgeon Paul.

Now playing in theatres, Ludo offers a tense, multi-layered experience for fans of crime and suspense cinema, marking a bold attempt at non-linear storytelling in contemporary Kannada cinema
