Mangaluru, Apr 26: The 20th Stan Nite, held recently at the Valencia church grounds, delivered a spectacular musical extravaganza, mesmerising a packed audience with its blend of soul-stirring melodies and vibrant stage performances.
Organized by Alfred Bennis Creations in collaboration with the Catholic Sabha Valencia unit and the Community Empowerment Trust, the event showcased professional show management and cultural celebration.

At the heart of the evening was Stanislaus Mendonca, popularly known as ‘Sangeeth Saurabh’. A renowned singer, lyricist, and composer with 19 successful musical nights already to his credit, Mendonca continues to be a formidable force in Konkani music. Despite residing in the UK, his unwavering commitment to his mother tongue remains the primary inspiration for his creative work, and this milestone 20th edition served as a powerful testament to his enduring legacy.
The concert featured a stellar lineup of vocalists, including Ashwin D'Costa, Jason Lobo, Ethan Tauro, Varna D'Souza, Velita Lobo, and Disha Moras, who rendered popular hits penned and composed by Stan. These performances were bolstered by the expert live musical arrangements of senior music directors Pappan and Joswin. Emcees Lawrence Barboza and Joseph Sequeira from the UK moderated the event skilllfully and energetically.
Beyond the music, the event was elevated by the high-energy choreography of the Urban Groove dance team and the engaging humour of the popular comedy collective 'Memory Ani Sangathi'.
With Daijiworld.com serving as the media partner, the night concluded as a resounding success, further cementing the bond between the performers and the community that continues to champion Konkani art and culture.
