Nagpur, Apr 26: A shocking murder incident has come to light in Nagpur city, where a young man was brutally killed following an old dispute in the Kalamna police station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Roshan Dharmasingh Uike. Police said he had an ongoing rivalry with the main accused, Javed alias Lala, for over a year, which is believed to have led to the murder.
According to police, the two had another argument two days before the incident, during which Roshan allegedly threatened to kill Javed, escalating tensions between them.

On the day of the incident, between 3 pm and 4 pm, Javed was working at his cooler manufacturing unit when he received a phone call. Informing others that he would return in half an hour, he left the shop and later reached the Wanjra locality in Kalamna along with his associates.
Roshan was present near a glass company in the area when the two confronted each other again, leading to a heated argument. During the altercation, Javed allegedly attacked Roshan with a sharp weapon, stabbing him multiple times.
Roshan sustained critical injuries and died on the spot shortly after the attack. The accused fled the scene immediately after the incident.
The entire assault was captured on CCTV cameras, and police are analysing the footage as part of the investigation.
Upon receiving information, senior officials from Kalamna police station reached the spot and initiated a probe. Based on CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts, police have arrested the main accused, Javed, while three of his associates remain absconding.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Javed was previously involved in a criminal case in 2021 under the Yashodhara Nagar police station limits. However, he was released at the time as he was a minor.
Police also said that the deceased Roshan had allegedly been involved in minor theft cases in the locality.
Further investigation is underway to apprehend the remaining accused and ascertain all aspects of the case.
