Mumbai: Supreme Court advocate Shashidhar U Kapu passes away

Mumbai, Apr 25: Senior member of Billava Association Mumbai, former director of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, member of Notary Union of India, and Supreme Court advocate Shashidhar U Kapu (74) passed away early Friday morning after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife Vilasini, son Vaibhav, daughter-in-law Vrushali, and a large number of relatives and friends.

The funeral procession departed from his residence on Saturday afternoon, and the last rites were performed at Shivdham Rudrabhoomi in Goregaon East.

Leaders and members of Billava Association Mumbai, including president Harish G Amin, honorary president L V Amin, office-bearers and members, Bharat Bank working president Suryakanth Jaya Suvarna, members of the Mumbai Billava community, admirers of Jaya C Suvarna, office-bearers of Sri Narayana Guru Bhajana Mandali, NCP leader Laxman C Poojari Chitrapu and several other dignitaries expressed condolences and paid tribute.

They prayed for eternal peace and salvation for the departed soul.
