Koppal missing persons suspected to be in Mangaluru; search underway

Mangaluru, Apr 25: Based on available information that two individuals who went missing in separate cases registered at the Hanumasagar police station in Koppal district may be residing in and around Mangaluru, Hanumasagar police have conducted search operations. However, they have not been traced so far.

In one case, Shakuntala (35) went missing from her residence in Bilagi village on November 27, 2025, and despite searches in various places, she has not been found. In another case, Mallappa (60) from Paramanatti in Kushtagi went missing on August 14, 2025, and remains untraced to date.

Hanumasagar police informed that there is information suggesting both individuals are working as daily wage labourers at different locations in the Mangaluru area. Police have appealed to the public to share any confirmed information about them with the Mangaluru police commissioner’s office or the Koppal district superintendent of police’s office.
