Udupi, Apr 24: Women and child development minister and Udupi district in-charge minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar has congratulated Udupi district for securing second place in the state in the SSLC examination with an impressive pass percentage of 98.18%.

Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that the coastal district of Udupi has always been academically progressive, attracting students even from outside the district for education. She described the district’s achievement as truly commendable.

She extended her congratulations to the officials of the education department, all colleges, and students whose collective efforts contributed to the district securing the second rank. She also wished the students a bright and successful future.

The minister further congratulated Pritam G Poojary of Mother Theresa Memorial School, Shankaranarayana, Kundapur, for securing first rank in the state by scoring a perfect 625 out of 625 marks in the examination.
