Mangaluru, Apr 23: Billava Brigade, in association with the Nandadeepa Foundation, will organise “Seva Sambhrama”, a house handover programme, on April 25 at 6 pm at Pambadabettu Grounds in Bantwal taluk, said founder Sadananda Poojary at a press conference.
On this occasion, the 14th and 15th houses constructed by the organisation will be handed over to deserving beneficiaries. Dignitaries from political, religious, cultural, and film fields are expected to attend the event.

As part of the programme, a “Musical Star Night” will be held from 8 pm, featuring artists such as Prakash Mahadevan, Roopa Prakash, Shameer Mudipu, Supriya Ram, and Mime Ramdas, among others.
Billava Brigade has gained recognition for its social service initiatives, having already constructed and handed over 13 houses to economically weaker families. Two more houses are now ready for distribution. A notable aspect of the organisation’s work is completing partially built houses of families facing financial hardships.
In addition to housing initiatives, the organisation has been actively involved in educational support for underprivileged students, guidance for higher education abroad, distribution of over 4,500 relief kits during the COVID-19 pandemic, and organising blood donation drives contributing more than 700 units of blood.
Founded under the guidance of youth leader Sadananda Poojary, the organisation draws inspiration from the teachings of Narayana Guru and continues to engage in various service-oriented activities. It is noteworthy that the organisation received the Dakshina Kannada District Rajyotsava Award for the year 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, Yashwant Deraje said that Billava Brigade and Nandadeepa Foundation have been consistently carrying out impactful social, educational, and healthcare programmes aimed at addressing the needs of the community.
