Udupi: 37-year-old tourist from Bengaluru found dead in Malpe hotel room

Udupi, Apr 22: A 37-year-old man from Bengaluru, who was on a visit to Malpe, was found dead in his hotel room under mysterious circumstances.

The deceased has been identified as Dhananjay K N, a resident of Anekal, Bengaluru.

According to reports, Dhananjay had arrived in Malpe with a group of friends for a vacation on the evening of April 19. It is said that he had been suffering from health issues for the past four years.

On April 20, while he was resting in his room, he reportedly became severely ill and passed away in his sleep.

The incident came to light later that afternoon.

The Malpe police have registered a case in this regard and are awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the exact cause of death. Further investigations are underway.
