ABCEA annual meet 2026 celebrated with grandeur in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Apr 20: The All Banks’ Christian Employees Association (ABCEA) successfully hosted its annual meet 2026 at Bejai Church Hall on Sunday evening, bringing together members for a meaningful and vibrant gathering.

The programme commenced with fellowship and song sessions by Rony Crasta and Melba duo, setting a warm and engaging tone for the evening.

A welcome song followed, after which the president, Marcel M D’Souza, formally welcomed the gathering.

The general secretary, Francis Pais, presented the annual report, highlighting the association’s activities and achievements over the past year.

A significant moment of the evening was the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the release of the Association’s logo by the chief guest, marking a symbolic beginning to the 25th year celebrations.

The Merit Awards Ceremony, led by the chief guest, recognized outstanding members chidren for their contributions. The introduction of the chief guest was carried out by MC Dolphy, following which the chief guest, Sushanth Saldanha, president of Konkani Catholic Lawyers' guild, Mangaluru addressed the audience, appreciating the association’s efforts and encouraging continued unity and service.

As a token of appreciation, a memento was presented to the chief guest. The formal programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by vice president, Frank Miranda.

The evening continued with a lively cultural programme, featuring entertainment, games, dance performances by Naach Sobhann group that added color and joy to the occasion.

The event concluded on a high note, fostering fellowship and community spirit among all attendees.
