Las Vegas, Apr 18: The makers of the upcoming Kannada film Toxic have stepped up the film’s global push by unveiling an extended showcase at CinemaCon 2026.
The team presented an exclusive nine-minute preview at the event, offering attendees a deeper glimpse into the film’s world, including its setting, tone and key characters.
The footage, which has not been released publicly, builds on earlier teasers and signals the makers’ intent to position the film as a large-scale theatrical experience.

According to reports, the preview struck a balance between stylised storytelling and mainstream appeal, while also highlighting the film’s emotional depth and action sequences. The presentation reportedly generated strong interest among attendees.
Set between the 1940s and 1970s, Toxic has been described as a “fairy tale for grown-ups”, blending period drama with a heightened cinematic style.
The film stars Yash in the lead and is directed by Geetu Mohandas. The ensemble cast includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi.
Music for the film is composed by Ravi Basrur, Vishal Mishra and Tanishk Bagchi.
Mounted on a large scale, Toxic is slated for theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
