Mumbai, Apr 14: Actress Raima Sen is set to appear in the upcoming drama Phool Pishi O Edward, with its teaser recently unveiled by the makers.

The preview offers a glimpse into a layered narrative filled with quiet tension, emotional depth, and an atmosphere of mystery. Raima Sen appears at the centre of the story, portraying a character marked by emotional complexity—simultaneously vulnerable and enigmatic, shaped by memory and lived experience.

The film is directed by acclaimed duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, known for their grounded storytelling style. The ensemble cast includes Sohini Sengupta, Arjun Chakraborty, Ananya Chatterjee, debutant Shyamoupti Mudly, along with supporting performances from Koneenica Bandyopadhyay, Anamika Saha, Shaheb Chattopadhyay, Rajatava Datta, Soumya Mukherjee, and Rishav Basu.

Speaking about her role, Raima Sen shared that she was drawn to the film’s emotional intensity and its exploration of a character who exists between reality and memory, describing it as both haunting and deeply engaging.

The directors explained that the film aims to build a cinematic world where emotion drives mystery, and where themes such as identity and memory are explored through subtle storytelling. They also noted that the project holds special significance as it marks 25 years of their production house, Windows.

Phool Pishi O Edward is scheduled for release in May this year.
