Mangaluru, Apr 12: SJEC women's football team participated and secured the runner-up trophy in VTU State-level Women's Football Tournament held at NIE Mysuru on April 11.

The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, physical education director (PED), and Sudheer, assistant PED.

The winning squads featured talented players from UG programmes:

Ashline D’Souza (8th sem AIML), Viola D’Souza (8th sem CSE), Sweedal Grace Pinto (8th sem CSDS), Sushritha (8th sem ECE), Ashika M R & Divija M G (8th sem EEE), Reola Stefi Mendonca (6th sem CSBS), Rakshitha K (6th sem ECE), Dhrathi (5th sem ME), Akshaya R Malli & Brahmi (4th sem CSDS), Annal Esha Noronha (4th sem EEE), Rachitha M N (4th sem CSE), Jashmitha P N (2nd sem CSE) and Nisha Rai (2nd sem ECE).

The management of SJEC has congratulated the team and the physical education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement.
