Indian Embassy urges nationals to stay indoors amid Iran strikes

Daijiworld Media Network - Tehran

Tehran, Apr 7: The Indian Embassy in Iran on Tuesday issued a fresh advisory asking Indian nationals in Iran to remain indoors for the next 48 hours amid escalating US-Israel strikes.

“In continuation of previous advisories, Indian nationals who are still in Iran must stay where they are for the next 48 hours, avoiding all electric and military installations and upper floors of multi-storey buildings,” the advisory stated.

The embassy also urged citizens to avoid unnecessary movement and coordinate any essential highway travel strictly with the mission.

The warning comes in the backdrop of intensifying military activity in Iran, with concerns rising over civilian safety as strikes target key infrastructure across the country.

Indian authorities have been closely monitoring the situation and issuing periodic advisories to ensure the safety of nationals in the region.
