Bantwal: ICYM & YCS present inspiring Way of the Cross with shadow acting

Farla, Apr 3: On the solemn occasion of Good Friday, ICYM and YCS Farla organized a unique and spiritually moving Way of the Cross inside the church, introducing an innovative concept of shadow acting.

The youth creatively portrayed the 14 Stations of the Cross using shadow performances, beautifully combining faith with modern expression. The presentation also reflected current social realities, making it more meaningful and relatable to the faithful.

The program witnessed an overwhelming response from parishioners, who were deeply impressed by the creativity and dedication of the participants. The initiative was widely appreciated as a powerful and refreshing way to engage the community in prayer and reflection.

Parish priest Fr Mark Arun D'Souza appreciated the efforts of the youth and congratulated them for the successful execution of the program. Fr Gilbert Mascarenhas, Fr Theo and Br Jaison Nickson D'Souza were also present and witnessed the meaningful presentation.

The event stood as a testament to the unity, talent, and strong faith of the youth, leaving a lasting impact on all those present.
