New Delhi, Apr 2: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a supplementary chargesheet against two accused, including Pakistan-based gangster Shehzad Bhatti, in connection with the 2025 grenade attack at YouTuber Roger Sandhu’s residence in Jalandhar.

Shehzad Bhatti has been named as an absconder in the case, while the second accused, Dipander Pratap Singh, has been arrested. Both have been booked under provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Explosive Substances Act, Arms Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

So far, 10 accused have been arrested, while seven—including Bhatti—remain on the run. The case was originally registered by the Punjab Police in March 2025 before being taken over by the NIA in December the same year.

The attack took place in the early hours of March 16, 2025, at Sandhu’s house in Raipur Rasoolpur village. According to investigators, Bhatti orchestrated the Attackfrom abroad as part of a broader terror conspiracy involving modules engaged in targeted killings, recruitment, and arms smuggling into India.

The agency found that he used encrypted communication channels to coordinate with operatives on the ground. Dipander Pratap Singh allegedly acted as a key local facilitator, providing logistical support and assisting in handling illegal weapons and explosives.

The NIA said investigations are ongoing to track down absconding suspects and dismantle the wider network linked to the conspiracy.
