‘Bapache Putache Navim’ to premiere in Muscat on Apr 17

Muscat, Apr 1: The Mangalorean Catholic Centre of the Parish (MCCP), in association with Venture Entertainment, is all set to present the Muscat premiere of the highly acclaimed Konkani film ‘Bapache Putache Navim’ (BPN). The premiere show is scheduled for April 17 at 4 pm at Vox Cinemas, Qurum, Muscat.

Following a series of successful premiere shows across India, Israel, Dubai, Qatar, and Australia, the film now arrives in Muscat, offering the Konkani community a special opportunity to experience this celebrated cinematic work on the big screen. Bapache Putache Navim has received widespread appreciation from audiences and film critics alike for its compelling storytelling, nuanced performances, evocative cinematography, and soulful music.

The film features a talented ensemble cast including Walter Nandalike, Dayan D’Souza, Ron Rodrigues, Sunitha Menezes, Sweedal D’Souza, Joshal D’Souza, Melwyn Kalakul, Vinutha, along with several other prominent Konkani artistes, all of whom bring depth and authenticity to this touching narrative. Michael D’Souza and Family have produced the movie under ‘Vision Konkani’ project. The movie was presented under the banner of Daijiworld.

"After a brief pause in screenings during the Lenten season, the film resumes its international journey with the Muscat premiere. We are the movie team grateful to the leadership and members of MCCP and Venture Entertainment for their keen interest and support in organizing this screening,” said Stany Bela, the director of BPN.

With a runtime of 100 minutes, Bapache Putache Navim thoughtfully explores themes of parenting, relationships, and the realities of an ageing society through parallel narratives, offering audiences a reflective and emotionally engaging cinematic experience.
