Anil Ambani files defamation suit against Arnab Goswami, Republic TV in Bombay HC

Mumbai, Mar 28: Business tycoon Anil Ambani has filed a defamation suit in the Bombay high court (HC) against Arnab Goswami and Republic TV.

According to reports, the petition alleges that broadcasts by the channel regarding his financial transactions have caused irreparable damage to his reputation.

In the plea, a demand has been made for an interim injunction against ARG Outlier Media Pvt Ltd, Arnab Goswami, and other unidentified parties (John Doe), seeking to restrain them from airing or publishing the allegedly defamatory content.

The matter is likely to come up for hearing on April 1 before Milind Jadhav. The case is currently at a preliminary stage, and further proceedings are being closely watched.
