Mangaluru: Online applications invited for Agniveer and permanent posts in Indian Army

Mangaluru, Mar 18: The Indian Army has invited online applications for recruitment under the Agniveer scheme as well as for permanent category posts. Interested candidates can apply through the official website Indian Army by logging in at Join Indian Army official website.

The online application process commenced on February 13 and eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications within the stipulated time. The online examination is tentatively scheduled to be held from June 1 to 15.

For the post of Agniveer General Duty (GD), candidates must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks across five subjects and at least 33% in each subject. Applicants must be between 17.5 and 22 years of age.

For Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical positions, candidates should have passed Class 12 in any stream with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and at least 50% in each subject. English and Mathematics/Accounts are compulsory subjects for eligibility.

Candidates applying for Agniveer Tradesman posts must have passed either Class 8 or Class 10, securing at least 33% marks in each subject.

For Agniveer Technical posts, applicants must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate and at least 40% in each subject. Alternatively, candidates who have completed a two-year ITI course after Class 10 are also eligible to apply.

The official notification further stated that candidates facing any difficulties or requiring additional information may visit the nearest Army recruitment office for assistance.
