FDP on ‘Speak with Impact’ empowers educators in Mangaluru

Mangaluru Mar 17: A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Speak with Impact’ was successfully organised on March 16 at Swastika Waterfront, under the joint auspices of JCI Mangaluru Samrat, Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, and Rosa Mystica PU College, Kinnikambla.

The programme was inaugurated by Mahabala Alva, HR manager of Lakshmi Memorial Education Trust (AJ Group). In his address, he highlighted the importance of developing effective communication skills among teachers.

Chief guest JC Deepak Raj graced the occasion and conveyed his best wishes for the programme. He serves as manager – risk investigations at Amazon Development Centre, Bengaluru, and is also a national trainer of JCI India. In his message, he emphasised the significant role teachers play in shaping the future of students.

The resource person for the programme was Dr Raghavendra Holla N, JCI senator, author and national trainer of JCI India, who provided valuable insights on effective communication, confident speaking, and impactful expression in teaching.

Faculty members from different schools and colleges participated in the programme and benefited from the interactive and practical training session, which helped them enhance their teaching and communication skills.

The programme was organised under the leadership of Preethi Shettigar, president of JCI Mangaluru Samrat. On the occasion, Malini N Hebbar, principal of Swastika National Business School, and Anita Lydia, principal of Rosa Mystica PU College, were also present.

The programme concluded successfully with participants expressing appreciation for the valuable learning experience.
