Udupi, Mar 13: Charles Ambler, president of Udupi zilla alpasankhyatara vedike has demanded the government to provide Rs 300 cr for the Christian community development corporation in the budget.
In a press statement he said, "In the 2025-26 fiscal year budget Rs 250 cr was announced for the Christian development corporation but only Rs 85 cr was released.
"In the present budget only Rs 95 cr has been announced for the Christian development corporation, this should be increased to Rs 300 cr for the benefit of the Christian community" he urged the government," he said.
