Mangaluru/Udupi: Much-awaited 39th 'Harshotsava' shopping festival kicks off across state

Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 9: The 39th edition of 'Harshotsava', the mega anniversary shopping festival of Harsha Electronics, was inaugurated with traditional grandeur across its various showrooms on Monday, March 9. The week-long festival, which commemorates Harsha's journey that began in Udupi in 1987, will continue until March 15.

In Mangaluru, the festival was inaugurated at the Falnir showroom by Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, parish priest of Milagres Church. CEO of Prakash Retail Pvt Ltd, Ashok Kumar, shared that the concept of Harshotsava began in 1988 as a way to express gratitude to customers. He highlighted that the organisation is built on the pillars of quality, reasonable pricing, and robust after-sales service.

In Udupi, the celebrations were launched across multiple branches. Fr William Martis and Mansuk Bai Patel inaugurated the offer at the K M Road branch, while Purushotam Patel and Jagadeesh led the ceremony at the Kittur Rani Chennamma Road branch. Anand Karnad launched the anniversary offers at the flagship showroom near the Udupi city bus stand.
