Tel Aviv, Mar 6: A fire broke out in central Israel late Thursday after shrapnel from a missile launched by Iran struck a warehouse, authorities said. The missile launch triggered air raid sirens across parts of the country.
Firefighting teams rushed to the scene after the missile fragment hit the warehouse, which quickly caught fire. Crews worked to prevent the blaze from spreading to nearby structures and eventually brought the situation under control.

Eyewitnesses claimed the missile may have carried cluster munitions, though the reports have not been confirmed by any official government or military sources.
Emergency service United Hatzalah said a 10-year-old boy sustained minor injuries due to the shrapnel strike. He was given first aid at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital. Responders also treated three individuals suffering from acute trauma following the incident.
In the early hours of Friday, air raid sirens were triggered several times in towns in northern Israel near the Lebanon border. However, officials reported no injuries or property damage in those alerts.
Meanwhile, residents in the northern West Bank briefly rushed to shelters after a warning about a hostile aircraft intrusion. The alert was later cleared with no casualties or damage reported.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation as tensions between Israel and Iran remain high.
