Udupi, Feb 25: Dr Krishnaprasad Koodlu, medical director of Prasad Netralaya Super Specialty Eye Hospital, was felicitated by Sri Sachidananda Bharathi Swamiji of Yedaneeru Math during the Kasargod-Karnataka Chutuku Sahitya Sammelana, organized by Kannada Bhavan and Library on the occasion of Kerala State Kannada Chutuku Sahitya Parishad’s anniversary at Kannada Bhavan.
Sri Sachidananda Bharathi Swamiji of Yedaneeru Math, in his blessings said Dr Krishnaprasad is a model doctor. Dr Krishnaprasad by fighting to develop and preserve Kannada language and culture and by involving himself in social work for 25 years, providing free eye test, surgery and distribution of eye glasses across the state, with the motive of “Public service is my breath”, he is a role model. He wished that all his thoughts and plans would become successful.

Prior to the formal event a grand procession was held from Sri Dhoomavathi Daivasthana vicinity.
