India crush Namibia by 93 runs in T20 World Cup clash

New Delhi, Feb 13: India registered their biggest-ever victory by runs in the Men’s T20 World Cup after defeating Namibia by 93 runs in a Group A match in New Delhi on Thursday.

Chasing a formidable target of 210, Namibia were bowled out for 116 in 18.2 overs, failing to cope with India’s disciplined bowling attack.

Earlier, after being put in to bat, India posted a commanding total of 209 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. Ishan Kishan top-scored with a blistering 61 off just 24 deliveries, providing early momentum to the innings.

Hardik Pandya delivered an impactful all-round performance and was adjudged Player of the Match.

The comprehensive win marked India’s largest margin of victory by runs in the history of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
