MEA dismisses Epstein files Email mentioning PM Modi as 'Trashy Ruminations'

Daijiworld Media Network – New Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 31: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday dismissed an email from the recently released Epstein Files that referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his 2017 state visit to Israel, calling it mere “allusions” and urging the public to treat it with “utmost contempt.”

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We have seen reports of an email message from the so-called Epstein files that has a reference to the Prime Minister and his visit to Israel. Beyond the fact of the Prime Minister’s official visit to Israel in July 2017, the rest of the allusions in the email are little more than trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal, which deserve to be dismissed with the utmost contempt.”

The remarks came after US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that Friday’s release marked the final batch of documents from the Trump administration under a law mandating the public disclosure of all Epstein-related files. The cache reportedly contains over 3 million pages, 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images.

The MEA clarified that PM Modi’s official engagements in Israel remain on record, but any insinuations in the Epstein Files have no credibility or basis in fact.
