Udupi, Jan 27: Glowinstar Integrated School celebrated the 77th Republic Day on January 26 in the school campus quadrangle with great fervour and pomp. The programme was attended by all students, teachers, and parents, who gathered to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of the nation.

The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by the principal, followed by the singing of the national anthem. The school band and march past were the most eye-catching features of the programme, showcasing discipline, unity, and a strong sense of patriotism among the students.

The cultural segment of the programme included patriotic dances and speeches in Kannada and English, performed by students with great enthusiasm and confidence. These performances reflected the spirit of national pride and highlighted the values of unity in diversity.

In the address to the gathering, the principal spoke about the significance of the Indian Constitution, the meaning of a sovereign republic, and the role of students in shaping the future of the world. The address inspired students to uphold constitutional values and work towards the progress of the nation.

To mark the joyous occasion, sweets were distributed to all the attendees. The programme was smoothly compered by Aleeza Afshin of Class 9, and the event concluded with avote of thanks proposed by Prapthi of Class 9, acknowledging the efforts of all those who contributed to the successful celebration.
