Puttige Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji visits Kediyoor’s Lords International Residential School

Udupi, Jan 26: Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji of Puttige Math visited Kediyoor’s Lords International Residential School, Nittoor, Udupi, on January 23. On this occasion, the school management performed Paada Pooja and felicitated him.

While accepting the honour and delivering his blessings, Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji said the achievements of Bhuvanendra Kieiyoor at a personal level are truly commendable. Though he is a hotel entrepreneur, out of his own will he has been involved for the past 28 years in service activities such as organising discourses and festivals in temples and running educational institutions. Such service is possible only with a good heart. All these achievements, he said, are the result of Kediyoor’s faith in god and unwavering devotion.

Bhuvanendra Kediyoor, president of Lords International Residential School, spoke in the introductory address and explained the achievements accomplished by Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji during his two-year Paryaya tenure.

Bhuvanendra Kidiyoor honoured Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji by presenting the Sri Krishna Geethanugraha Award on the occasion.

Vice principal of Lords International Residential School Kiran Kumar welcomed the gathering. Damodara Sharma compered the program and proposed the vote of thanks.

Ucchila Mahalakshmi Temple priest Vishnumurthy Acharya, Dinakar, Vishnumurthy Bhat, Diwan Nagaraj Acharya, Vilas Kumar Jain, priest Praveen Acharya, Shrisha Upadhya, Padigaru Lakshminarayana Upadhya, and others were present.
