Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies organises Shark Tank Competition

Mangaluru, Jan 23: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, successfully organized a Shark Tank Competition on January 19, at the Aviation campus, with the objective of promoting innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among students. A total of 14 teams consisting of 70 students from the BBA aviation management and aviation & logistics management programs actively participated in the competition. The participants were divided into teams of five members each and presented a wide range of innovative business ideas. Each team showcased its concept by explaining the business model, target market, operational strategy, financial feasibility, and future scalability, reflecting strong analytical and planning skills.

The winners of the Shark Tank Competition were Aditya B Gowda, Anush M, Ayush Aman, Dishanth, and Sushanth Anchan, from first year BBA aviation management while the runners-up team comprised Anna Preethika, Vaishnavi, Santhra, Lena Manoj, and Sharanya M K from second year BBA aviation management.

The competition was successfully conducted with the support and guidance of the Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, head of the department, management coordinator, and with the support of other faculty members and student council members of the Institute of Aviation Studies. The competition demonstrated a strong commitment to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application while fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
