Udupi, Jan 22: Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 runner-up Rakshita Shetty received a rousing and grand welcome by her fans during her visit to her hometown in Udupi district, as fans gathered in large numbers to celebrate her arrival. The actress was accorded with the roadshow at Hejamady in Kapu taluk, marking her ceremonial entry into the district on January 21.

Rakshita Shetty was taken in an open vehicle in a colourful roadshow that commenced from Hejamady and proceeded up to Padubidri. The procession turned into a festive spectacle, with fans lining both sides of the road, cheering, raising slogans, bursting firecrackers, and showering flowers to express their admiration.

Adorned with traditional Tulunadu shawls and garlands, Rakshita Shetty warmly acknowledged her fans, waving and interacting with them throughout the journey. The event reflected the deep connection she shares with the people of the coastal region.

Adding to the excitement, Rakshita Shetty was seen joyfully holding bangude (mackerel) fish and dancing along with the crowd, a moment that quickly caught public attention. She expressed her fondness for local seafood, stating that bangude and bhutai fish are among her most favourite dishes, much to the delight of her supporters.

The entire stretch from Hejamady to Padubidri echoed with celebratory chants, music, and dance, transforming the visit into a memorable occasion. Rakshita Shetty’s Udupi visit highlighted her popularity and the immense love she continues to receive from fans across coastal Karnataka.
