Media Release

Dubai, Jan 19: Gammath Kalavider UAE, a well-known amateur Tulu theatre group in the UAE, has been actively nurturing Tulu stage drama since its inception in 2011. Over the years, the troupe has earned wide appreciation for its quality productions, disciplined performances, and mature dramatic presentations, thereby carving a respected identity in the overseas Tulu theatre movement.

Beyond theatre, Gammath Kalavider UAE has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to social responsibility by extending support to various humanitarian and community-oriented causes in their homeland for more than a decade. The group continues to strike a fine balance between cultural promotion and meaningful social engagement.

As part of its efforts to strengthen future initiatives, the association constituted a new Executive committee for the 2026–27 term during its annual general body meeting, held on January 18 at Ghazal Restaurant, Grand Excelsior Hotel, Bur Dubai.
